AHS wins AHIMA19 Student Jeopardy competition

Four HIM senior students represented UIC in an academic Jeopardy competition as part of the AHIMA Health Data and Information national conference in Chicago on September 15.  The students, Jay Gundechia, Jasmine Daquioag, J.R. Signe and  Salwa Merchant, will receive scholarship money of $1500.  This is the second time in four years that the UIC team has won the competition. Other HIM students in the competition were from University of Central Florida, University of Pittsburgh and College of St. Scholastica programs.
