Akemi Nishida publishes article on disaster and disability justice as part of the Disability Visibility Project
Akemi Nishida interviewed disability justice organizers who provide disaster supports for queer, trans and disabled BIPOC on disaster ableism and their grassroots efforts. The two-series article entitled, "We Survive Together: Interviews with Organizations Fighting against Disaster Ableism and Injustices" was published on the Disability Visibility Project website which is a leading disability justice media source.
