DHD assistant professor Akemi Nishida was one of the eight invited presenters at a symposium hosted by the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at the University of Connecticut on Friday, March 29, 2019. Nishida presented alongside other prominent feminist disability scholars.
