Ashley Hughes receives Health Equity Pilot Project funding
Ashley Hughes is PI/project lead of Health Equity Pilot Project. The project seeks to improve uptake of colorectal cancer screening in underserved communities in the Chicagoland area and is conducted in collaboration with leaders in UIC family medicine, UI Health gastroenterology, Mile Square, UIC Cancer Center and University of Florida (Drs. Masahito Jimbo, Nathan Stackhouse, Keith Naylor, Yamilé Molina and Megan Gregory).
