Carrie Sandahl awarded a Creative Access Fellowship
DHD associate professor Carrie Sandahl has been awarded a Creative Access Fellowship from a multi-organization partnership funded by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation.
Sandahl will spend 18 days this summer at Ragdale, a nonprofit artists' community, working on her memoir, Too Much Information, which explores issues of being a disabled parent raising disabled children, transracial adoption, and fault lines in the disability rights movement between those with physical and mental disabilities.
