Eric Swirsky nominated to second term on board of Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education
BHIS faculty and Director of Graduate Studies Eric Swirsky has been nominated unopposed to serve a second term on Board of Directors of The Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). CAHIIM is an independent accrediting organization whose mission is to serve the public interest by establishing and enforcing quality Accreditation Standards for Health Informatics and Health Information Management (HIM) educational programs.
Professor Swirsky currently serves as CAHIIM board liaison to the Health Informatics Accreditation council and is Chair of the Governance and Bylaws Committee.
