Eric Swirsky reappointed, named secretary to Board of Directors of the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education
BHIS clinical associate professor and director of graduate studies Eric Swirsky has been reappointed to serve a second term on Board of Directors of The Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). In addition to his directorship, Swirsky serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors, Board Liaison to the Health Informatics Accreditation Council and Chair of the Governance and Bylaws Committee.
CAHIIM is an independent accrediting organization whose mission is to serve the public interest by establishing and enforcing quality Accreditation Standards for Health Informatics and Health Information Management educational programs.
