Interprofessional experience for OT and PT students
PT and OT students after a session of collaboration on two case studies.
On February 24, OT and PT Faculty Heidi Fischer, OT, Justin Payette, PT, and Megan McCray, OT collaborated to create an Interprofessional Experience for OT and PT students as part of their courses. Students participated in a discussion of a video case study of a client post wrist surgery. Faculty facilitators role-modeled interprofessional collaboration during the case discussion. After, students worked in small interprofessional teams to problem-solve through various cases and educated each other on their respective roles and approach to patient care.
