Mansha Mirza awarded IRRPP Fellowship
OT assistant professor Mansha Mirza has been awarded a Policy and Social Engagement Fellowship from the Institute for Research on Race and Public
Policy.
The award will support Mirza's work with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights to identify how language access in Medicaid re-enrollment affects immigrants and refugees with limited English proficiency.
The selection committee was "particularly interested in the policy implications of your project outcomes and your engagement plan with politicians in Springfield."
