Publication accepted: Liz Peterson coauthors new article
An article coauthored by OT clinical professor Liz Peterson titled, "Falls among fulltime wheelchair users with spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis: A comparison of characteristics of fallers and circumstances of falls" has been accepted for publication in Disability and Rehabilitation.
The paper grew out of Liz's collaborations with UIUC-based researchers (L. Rice, J. Sosnoff, J. Sung, and Y. Trace) who share an interest in fall prevention among wheelchair users. The team is currently engaged in other projects related to this important topic.
