Disability Studies PhD candidate and visiting assistive technology specialist Ellyn McNamara is the author of a piece published in Perspectives of the American-Speech-Language-Hearing-Association, Special Interest Groups. The paper, "Bilingualism, augmentative and alternative communication, and equity: making a case for people with complex communication needs," analyzes the unique experiences of people with disabilities impacting their communication in dual-language contexts.
