Publication available: Fabricio Balcazar co-authors AJPE study
A paper by UIC researchers including DHD professor Fabricio Balcazar titled, "Assessing Students’ Impressions of the Cultural Awareness of Pharmacy Faculty and Students" is available in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.
Study found that pharmacy students "perceived the majority of their pharmacy faculty to be culturally sensitive and aware, but microaggression and discrimination from faculty and student peers were experienced."
